This video really brings me back. The name of the group is Faith No More. The name of the song is "We Care a Lot." They are better known for "Falling to Pieces" and "Epic." In the song are lines that fit this entry: "Well it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it."
Have you ever seen something that's executed incorrectly? What do you do? If you say something, you risk getting involved a little more than anticipated. If you say nothing, then you may get the whole "Why didn't you tell me?"
Since this is something I would want told to me, I did mention it in way of a conversation. Once it was accepted there was vast opportunities for improvement, then there was the process of making and doing it better.
This lead to the whole getting a bit more involved than I had predicted. Yet, I am a person of my word. If I say I'm going to do something I do it. Some days are smoother than others but I remain determined. I just hope the same appreciation that was given in the beginning will still be the same towards the end. I may just get told to "bugger off" and changes may not be accepted.
Whatever the case, I'm learning a whole lot of things with this undertaking and am saving my findings. This could double as a teaching tool for others.
A girl can dream, can't she?
