Mo' Better (inspired by Danyell-Power of 10)

This entry is part of The Power of 10 Poetic Exercise.  The words in bold are the ones Danyell selected for me to use as part of the poem.

Oh, wow!
It's YOU again!
Aren't you that SAME person
who told me (and everyone else)
I'd be NOTHING without you?
But now that I'm shining brighter;
now that I was spotted on another's arm,
I went from, "She ain't shit"
to "She's so very special."
And now, you're staging a comeback,
and I'm not supposed to blink,
think your travesties are in pencil
when they are really etched in ink.
The performance-Oscar worthy,
but you're arrived too late;
I have someone who deeply loves me,
so I'll send you on your way.
